Our charming bed and breakfast is located in a farming community just northwest of Omaha, Nebraska. Our cozy rooms are decorated with antique furnishings and feature plush bedding for a comfortable night's sleep. Guests can enjoy a delicious homemade breakfast in our dining room, and relax on their balcony or our wrap-around porch. Come and experience the tranquility and beauty of Ofts Bed & Breakfast!
Linda and Gordon have been hosting for nearly 15 years and are starting to take more time off themselves. Dates open for reservations have been reduced. If you have a special event and find 'dates' closed, give them a call or email them. They will try to accommodate your needs.
Our Rooms
Mueller Suite $159/night with double occupancy (ask about discounts)
The Mueller Suite sleeps 4 comfortably and is PET friendly. It has the rustic charm of a century old barn with all the modern conveniences. Enjoy the luxury of a Bed and Breakfast and have your own privacy. The room has a kitchenette, bath with shower, sitting area, bedroom with 2 queen beds and a large upper deck shaded by a huge sycamore tree. It's decorated with farm antiques taken from the 1879 homestead and has modern air conditioning, cable TV and WiFi. Enjoy a unique lodging experience in a century old carriage house and try to figure out what all the antiques are. In the morning, come over to our formal dining room and enjoy a gourmet breakfast. If you like, tour our historic home. Rate is for double occupancy; extra guest rate is $20/person; children under 10 are free. Your furry friends are welcome with a $25 pet fee. We offer weekly and monthly discounts (without breakfast). Call us for details.
Oft Room $139/night (ask about discounts)
The Oft Room has a queen size bed and a private bathroom located down the hall. The bathroom has a period style water closet and clawfoot tub and plush bathrobes are provided. The room has private access to the balcony that overlooks our pond. Free WiFi, cable TV, a refrigerator, games and a small library are provided in the Common Room. The kitchen is open from 7am to 9pm for a beverage, cookie or baked snack. A gourmet breakfast is served in our formal dining room. We accommodate dietary restrictions. No pets are allowed.
Gordon Room $149/night (ask about discounts)
This spacious room has an adjoining bathroom and large tiled shower. The king-size, sleigh bed offers a spacious and comfortable night's rest. The room has private access to the balcony that overlook the pond. Both rooms in our historic home have access to our family museum, 'hall of history' and formal parlor. The kitchen is open from 7am to 9pm for a beverage, cookie or baked snack. A gourmet breakfast is served in our formal dining room. We accommodate dietary restrictions. No pets are allowed.
Discounts, Meetings and tours
We give active military and law enforcement officers a $10 discount. Ask about our seasonal and extended stay room discounts.
In addition to lodging, organizational meetings, book clubs, and home tours. Our historic home can comfortably sit 10 people. Our historic home has been the backdrop for photographers and videographers.
Business Meetings. Plan your next office or organizational meeting in a unique setting. We will provide beverages and baked goods. Cost $75/hour.
House Tour. We offer a tour of our home explaining its architectural features, family history and historical displays. The tour ends in the formal dining room or porch with beverages and baked goodies. The tour takes about an hour. Cost $15 per person.
